Emily's New Tricks

This has been a banner weekend for Emily. She has started doing three new things:
  1. She can now wave by flapping her wrist instead of opening and closing her hand like she used to do.
  2. She can now stand up completely on her own by placing her hands and feet flat on the floor, and then walking her hands toward her feet while bending her knees, gaining her balance, and then standing!
  3. She has started saying "ba-ba", which is a new syllable for her. And, she seems to associate it with a book at grandma's house about ba-ba black sheep.
In addition to all of these amazing new tricks, she is continuing to learn her body parts. When asked, she can now point to her nose, eyes, ears, teeth, tongue (which she stick out at you!), knees, tummy, and toes. We're so proud!
