Emily just had a wonderful day and night. Yesterday she was all smiles and was awake and alert most of the day, even interacting quite a bit. The only time she really slept was the 2.5 hours that my mom and I went shopping--the perfect time. Andrew and I went on another walk after dinner and she stayed awake the whole time, looking around at the neighborhood. Most impressive, though, was what she did last night. Not only did she fall asleep in my arms after her last feeding, but she slept for 7:45 straight. That is by far the longest she has ever slept at once. We were thrilled to get so much sleep in one chunk. Today has started off well, so I'm hoping we can have another great day!
